6.11 Conclusions

Continuous data is frequently encountered in a healthcare setting. Liberal use of plotting is required to really understand the underlying data. Comparisons can be easily made between two or more groups of data, but always remember what you are actually trying to analyse and don’t become fixated on the p-value. In the next chapter, we will explore the comparison of two continuous variables together with multivariable models of datasets.
